Dear ,

Thank you for your email dated 28 October 2022 where you asked whether the MHRA hold any data on which reporter groups report the most Adverse Drug Reactions (ADRs) to the Yellow Card scheme.

This information is already publicly available online via our Human Medicines Regulations 2012 Advisory Bodies Annual Report 2021 (https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/1092220/HMR_CHM_BPC_Annual_report_2021.pdf). The information you have specifically requested is present within Figure 1 and Figure 2 which are located on pages 46 and 47.

We are really pleased to hear that your Trust will be participating in the Medicines Safety Week campaign and that you are focusing on the reporting of ADRs to the MHRA. If you are not already aware, there are various free resources on our website (https://yellowcard.mhra.gov.uk/MedSafetyWeek) including downloadable materials to help you raise awareness locally and encourage reporting which may be helpful.

I hope the information provided is helpful, but if you are dissatisfied with the handling of your request, you have the right to ask for an internal review. Internal review requests should be submitted within two months of the date of this response; and can be addressed to this email address: info@mhra.gov.uk. Please remember to quote the reference number above in any future communications.

Yours sincerely,

FOI Team,

Safety and Surveillance Group
