“You will appreciate that both were government events, or co-hosted by government, and were funded or partly funded by the public purse. I therefore believe that they can be disclosed. Most of the attendees would have been public servants. This is a sort of event which GIS would normally record so there can be no expectation of privacy by any individual.”

“I would like to FOI the total cost of the Royal visit of the Earl and Countess of Wessex.
Together with the overall costs, can you please provide a breakdown of each expenditure associated with the Royal visit.”
Clarification: “I am looking for all costs for the visit; from their stay, reception events, travel expenses, catering, entertainment, food and drink etc. anything and everything connected to the visit.
“I sent the same request to the Cabinet Office, Police and the Agriculture Ministry.
If it could all be coordinated in one request reply that would be fantastic.
