Yemen is currently subject to financial sanctions. This document contains a current list of designated persons.

In February 2014 the United Nations Security Council adopted resolution 2140 which, amongst other things, requires states to freeze all funds and economic resources of individuals or entities who threaten the peace, security and stability of Yemen.
In November 2014 the Committee established pursuant to paragraph 19 of the resolution designated three individuals as subject to financial sanctions. These designations were subsequently adopted by the European Union.
