Details

FAWC’s advice responded to a government request for views on proposals made in the European Food Safety Authority’s (EFSA) opinion on the welfare of animals during transport for the use of allometric principles for calculating space allowances for animals during transport. FAWC’s advice also included observations on headroom for animals during transport and on other related welfare issues.
