On 1 February 2023 the UK introduced 2 new design visa vignettes: for Entry Clearance and for Certificate of Entitlement. The new vignettes are based on the same technical specifications as the previous versions but with several improvements and enhanced security features.
The UK will continue to issue old and new design vignettes in parallel until 31 December 2023 when the old design will cease to be issued. Commencing 1 January 2024, the UK will only issue the new design vignettes. All UK vignettes remain valid for use until the expiry of their valid-until dates.
