This report sets out the findings from the evaluation of the Sport Survival Package (SSP), which provided emergency funding to sport clubs and organisations negatively impacted by spectator restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The programme was in place from December 2020 to March 2022, and was managed by Sport England on behalf of the Department for Culture, Media and Sport.
The evaluation report was commissioned in late 2021, and delivered by a partnership led by Ecorys (including Ipsos UK, economist George Barrett, and sport finance expert Rob Wilson).
