Details

The National Audit Office (NAO) report reviews cost effectiveness evaluations in government. These cover government spending, taxation and regulation, across the 17 main departments and some of their bodies.

Our response recognises evaluation’s important role in policy development. We have developed and started implementing an evaluation plan to address these NAO recommendations to achieve better quality evaluations.
