The United Kingdom instrument of ratification was deposited on 21 November 2006 and the Convention entered into force for the United Kingdom on 1 March 2007. The Convention was previously published as Miscellaneous No. 4 (2006 ) Cm. 6794 (ISBN 9780101679428).

This Command Paper was laid before Parliament by a Government Minister by Command of Her Majesty. Command Papers are considered by the Government to be of interest to Parliament but are not required to be presented by legislation.
