Details

The Double Taxation Convention entered into force on 21 February 2013.

The convention became effective in Ethiopia from:

  • 1 March 2013 for taxes withheld at source
  • 8 July 2013 for taxes on income

It’s effective in the UK from:

  • 1 March 2013 for taxes withheld at source
  • 1 April 2013 for Corporation Tax
  • 6 April 2013 for Income Tax and Capital Gains Tax
