Applies to England

Since 1 April 2019, we have required academy trusts to declare all contracts made with related parties before they are agreed with their supplier. We also require trusts to seek approval for all contracts and transactions over £20,000, either individually or cumulatively, within the same financial year.

As well as any new contracts or agreements, RPT reporting requirements include existing contracts that are subject to renewal on or after 1 April 2019.

You can read guidance on related party transactions on GOV.UK.

We are continually working to improve and develop the system for declaring and seeking approval for RPTs. We would welcome feedback and suggestions via our online enquiry form.

2. Information: list of further providers selected to deliver T Levels

We have now published the list of further providers who have been selected to deliver T Levels from academic year 2021 to 2022 on GOV.UK.

The Department for Education (DfE) have also published the funding consultation response which outlines how T Levels will be funded and the additional support being provided for 2020 T Level providers.
