Environment Agency privacy notice: Rural Payments Agency data

1. What personal data and information we hold 

The Rural Payments Agency have provided us with the following information:

  • Contact details, including name, address, telephone number(s) and email address
  • Land parcel boundaries
  • Single Business Identifier
  • County Parish Holdings number

2. What we do with your personal data (processing of personal information)

We will use your personal data and information to contact you in relation to the land parcels that you manage.  

This processing of your personal information is necessary for the performance of tasks we carry out which are in the public interest. This is set out in the Environment Act 1995, and related legislation. 

3. How we will store and how long we will keep your personal data for 

We will only keep your personal information for as long as necessary, in line with

  • statutory
  • regulatory
  • legal
  • security requirements

We will store and dispose of your personal information securely, protect it and only give access to the people that need it. 

4. When we will share your personal data and information

We will only share your personal information with

  • contractors
  • project partners

who are contracted by us to undertake work on our behalf and where we will own the outputs from that work. 

All third parties in receipt of your personal information will be instructed on how and when to destroy the data.
