  1. 23 October 2026

     Removed the EWCO amendment request form, and edited the guidance accordingly: grant recipients can now submit a request via email. Updated email address EWCO recipients will be contacted from - forestry@ukemail.icasework.com to grantdelivery@forestrycommission.gov.uk.

  2. 16 June 2026

     Updated 'EWCO change of management control notification form'.

  3. 9 January 2026

     Added v1.2 of the EWCO amendment request form. The form was updated to improve accessibility.

  4. 5 November 2025

     Updated the amend area and boundary section in the guidance to add note on breaks in contiguity for additional contributions if parcels are removed from the agreement.

  5. 23 October 2025

     Improvements made for clarity only. There are no significant changes to the current eligibility, rules or processes.

  6. 29 February 2024

     Added a note that applicants will receive emails relating to EWCO from 'forestry@ukemail.icasework.com'.

Read the guidance on changing your EWCO agreement if you need to submit either:

• an amendment request – to amend the details of your EWCO agreement or to end it early
• a change of management control form – to tell us about a change of ownership (succession) or management control

These change requests can only be submitted by the named grant recipient on the agreement or by an authorised agent.

Check you’ve clearly explained the reason for amendment in your email request. We may contact you for further information if required.

To change details of ownership (succession) or management control, fill in the ‘EWCO change of management control notification form’.

Email your amendment request or completed change of management control form to EWCO@forestrycommission.gov.uk.
