Details

These documents are for energy suppliers and scheme administrators. There is different guidance for consumers.

The documents are the agreements between the government, energy suppliers, and scheme administrators that enable the delivery of the Energy Price Guarantee to households across the UK. We intend for these documents to be formally recognised by Parliament through regulations to be laid under the Energy Prices Act.

1. 29 December 2023

   We have updated the EPG scheme documents for GB domestic gas and electricity consumers with November 2023 versions.

2. 27 September 2023

   The EPG scheme documents for domestic electricity and gas consumers in Great Britain have been updated to allow the EPG to provide a discount via standing charges to consumers.
