Benchmarked schools provided their annual electricity and gas consumption and cost during financial year 2024 to 2025. This analysis estimates what their potential cost would be if they used the Department for Education’s (DfE) Energy for Schools (EfS) service and summarises the cost and percentage difference.
The data indicates estimated savings and savings percentages for a typical benchmarked primary and secondary school, split by electricity and gas.
