Details
This order was made under the monopoly provisions of the Fair Trading Act 1973. The order applies to exhibition halls in Greater London with more than 2,500 square metres of exhibition space. It prevents owners of such exhibition halls from requiring exhibitors to use particular electrical contractors without objective justification. Where owners and exhibitors are linked, electrical contractors must be chosen competitively.
