The ‘East Anglia prospectus’ has been produced for potential bidders in the East Anglia franchise competition to:

  • give detail and information about the East Anglia franchise opportunity to allow prospective bidders to decide whether they wish to seek pre-qualification, either as a single entity or as part of a consortium
  • communicate what is important to the Department for Transport in relation to the franchise, to enable interested parties to prepare a bid
  • indicate some of the main areas, risks and responsibilities which bidders will need to consider when preparing their bid
