     Updated franchise agreement to version 5.8.

  2. 22 January 2021

     Added East Anglia: emergency recovery measures agreement.

  3. 8 October 2020

     Updated franchise agreement to version 5.5, which includes a change to Appendix 1 Schedule 5.9 to increase the funding of the STNR programme.

     Added emergency measures agreement.

  5. 21 October 2019

     Contract change to Schedule 6.2 paragraphs 53.1 & 53.2. The old DMU Class 170 vehicles should not have been included. Class 170 vehicles are being replaced by new trains with wifi.

  6. 23 September 2019

     Contract change to Schedule 6.2 paragraphs 55.1 and 55.2 stating a reduction in the amount of cycle space, removal of the 'Bike and Go' schemes and electric cycle hire trial. An alternative passenger benefit is proposed and provided for within the contract change.

  7. 9 October 2018

     A contract variation to the East Anglia Public Register Franchise Agreement dated 30/01/2018 to paragraph 14.1 of Schedule 6.2 in respect of the timescales regarding modifications to the Class 170 fleet.

Details

The franchise agreement between the Secretary of State for Transport and Abellio East Anglia Limited dated 23 August 2016, and subsequent emergency measures and emergency recovery measures agreements.

The contract with Abellio East Anglia Limited was announced by the Transport Minister on 10 August 2016.

This agreement replaces the previous Greater Anglia 2014 franchise agreement.
