We publish early caseload estimates in monthly DWP statistical summaries and finalised figures in the quarterly summaries.

We provide early caseload estimates of the number of:

  • lone parents receiving Income Support
  • Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) and incapacity benefit claimants receiving ESA, Incapacity Benefit, Severe Disablement Allowance, Income Support or Pension Credit
  • ESA and incapacity benefit claimants receiving National Insurance credits only
