The Environment Agency has received an application to vary an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 involving substantial change to a permit from McFen Plant Limited.

Waste facility under Standard Rules SR2022 No.4 – non-hazardous waste recycling with asbestos, hazardous batteries, cable and WEEE storage, have applied for a substantial variation from this multi activity standard rules to a bespoke of the same nature. However they wish to remove the hazardous waste transfer station activity and add an aggregate wash plant activity to be able to wash street sweepings outside of a building.
