The Environment Agency has received a new bespoke application for an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 from Portland Stone Limited.

Proposed inert landfill and waste management facility, that will include inert waste recycling facility (including crushing and screening) and a household, commercial and industrial waste transfer station, with waste electronic equipment, treatment via manual sorting and separation, screening, and shredding of non specific non hazardous waste streams to produce RDF and the baling of specific waste streams such as cardboard, plastics and RDF.
