The Environment Agency has received a new bespoke application for an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 from Egdon Resources UK Limited.
Environmental permit for onshore oil and gas exploratory operations

Regulated facility type
Wressle 1 site is an onshore oil and gas operation. The application seeks to add a new installation activity for the refining of natural gas in excess of 1,000 tonnes per year. The application also seeks to vary the current mining waste operation, water discharge activity and groundwater activity. Wressle wellsite will be extended from the southern boundary and two new wells will be drilled.
