This direction was lifted on 16 March 2020 following a re-inspection by Ofsted in which services were judged to be good.

This revised direction requires Croydon Council to cooperate with Camden in an intensive peer-support arrangement to improve the quality of practice in children’s social care services.

This direction replaces the earlier statutory direction issued to the council in January 2018.
