A summary of the CMA’s findings following its market study into how digital comparison tools are working for consumers, businesses and the economy.



In September 2017, the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) published its final report following its market study into digital comparison tools (DCTs).

The summary of the final report sets out:

  • the benefits of DCTs for consumers
  • ground rules for how DCTs should behave
  • next steps for the CMA, companies, government and regulators to help make DCTs better
