This document outlines the modelling process used to estimate the benefits mentioned in the impact assessment for the consultation on ending the sale of energy drinks to children.
It also sets out the modelling process used to estimate the benefits outlined in the impact assessments for the following consultations to be published by the end of 2018:
- energy labelling of food and drink outside the home
- restricting the price promotions for unhealthy foods
- restricting checkout, end-of-aisle and store entrance sales of unhealthy foods and drinks
