Details

This report:

  • investigates the progress being made with objective 2 of the national strategy, in improving the rates of diagnosis for people with dementia
  • quantifies the changes in the rate of detection and diagnosis of people with dementia over a recent 6-year period
  • investigates the recent trends in the number of people being admitted to inpatient hospital facilities in an emergency situation where the primary diagnosis for the admission was recorded as dementia
