This document explains how the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) has met its biodiversity duties in England, Scotland and Wales.  

It sets out how we have considered what actions we can take to support biodiversity, as we pursue our goal of restoring and enhancing the environment for the next generation, leaving it in a better state than it was found.
