This guidance is for universities and researchers working with the Defence, Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl) and the Ministry of Defence (MOD). It will help you understand the security rules you need to follow when working with us.

These measures help protect the UK and our Armed Forces from current and future threats.

Dstl worked with the Higher Education Export Control Association (HEECA) national security subgroup on producing this guidance.
