Report summarising the objectives, evidence and key findings gathered by the BIS and the department for Work and Pensions from an evidence-based formal review of the default retirement age by 2011. The government announced this review in 2006 following the introduction of the Employment Equality (Age) Regulations and the national default retirement age of 65.
