This rapid systematic review identified and assessed the available evidence for strategies to decontaminate household and community settings to prevent recurring infection with Panton-Valentine Leukocidin-positive Staphylococcus aureus (PVL-SA).

This rapid systematic review searched for research published up to 30 January 2024. No published randomised controlled trials or non-randomised controlled trials were identified that examined the effectiveness of decontamination methods available in either household or community settings for the prevention of recurring infection with PVL-SA.
