This rapid systematic review identified and assessed the available evidence to determine whether decolonisation was effective to prevent recurring and secondary infections of Staphylococcal skin and soft tissue infection, and if so, the most effective decolonisation regime.
This rapid systematic review searched for research published up to 26 June 2024. Four studies were included, 3 randomised controlled trials and one retrospective cohort study.
