Details
This rapid systematic review identified and assessed the available evidence to determine whether decolonisation was effective to prevent recurring and secondary infections of PVL-SA skin and soft tissue infection, and if so, the most effective decolonisation regime.
This rapid systematic review searched for research published up to 30 January 2024. No published randomised or non-randomised controlled trials were identified to determine the effectiveness of decolonisation strategies for individuals either infected with or exposed to PVL-SA skin and soft tissue infection.
