Decision
The standard national goods vehicle operator licence OD1108882 held by Paul Thomas Removals Ltd is revoked with effect from 0001 hours on 7 February 2022 pursuant to Sections 26(1)(c)(iii), (e) and (f) and 27(1)(a) and (b) of the Goods Vehicles (Licensing of Operators) Act 1995 (“the 1995 Act”).
Paul Thomas has lost his good repute as a transport manager, pursuant to schedule 3 paragraph 1 of the 1995 Act. Under paragraph 16(2) of that schedule, he is disqualified, with immediate effect and for a period of two years until 7 January 2024, from acting as a transport manager on any operator’s licence.
The operator is allowed a period of grace, until the revocation of the licence takes effect on 7 February, to be without a transport manager.
