The Traffic Commissioner for the West Midlands decided:

Standard national licence OD0266401 held by Jones Waste Services Ltd is revoked with effect from 0001 hours on 8 February 2021, pursuant to Section 26(1)(e), (f) and (h) and 27(1)(a) and (b) of the Goods Vehicles (Licensing of Operators) Act 1995 (“the 1995 Act”).

Under Section 28 of the 1995 Act both the company and director Andrew Vincent Jones are disqualified from holding or obtaining an operator’s licence and (in Mr Jones’s case) from being the director of a company holding or obtaining such a licence. The disqualification takes effect on 8 February 2021 and is for a period of three years.

Transport manager Andrew Vincent Jones has lost his good repute, pursuant to paragraph 1 of Schedule 3 to the 1995 Act. Under paragraph 16 of that Schedule he is disqualified, indefinitely, from being a transport manager on any operator’s licence.
