The standard national goods vehicle operator’s licence held by BHM Transport Ltd is suspended for the period of 28 days with effect from 0001 hours on 1 April 2021 until 0001 hours on 29 April 2021. The suspension is pursuant to Section 26(1)(f) and (h) of the Goods Vehicles (Licensing of Operators) Act 1995 (“the 1995 Act”).

Under Section 26(6) of the 1995 Act, the Traffic Commissioner directs that the operator’s specified vehicles may not be used under any other operator’s licence during the period of suspension.

Gurdip Kaur Purewal has lost her good repute as a transport manager, pursuant to schedule 3 paragraph 1 of the 1995 Act. Under paragraph 16(2) of that schedule she is disqualified, for the period of 12 months until 16 March 2022, from acting as a transport manager on any operator’s licence.
