Details

A request was made for details following the issue of penalty charge notices including the number of written representations received, considered, overturned or rejected; the grounds for rejecting a written representation; the number of transactions moved into a ‘penalty charge notice state’ where the penalty charge notice has yet to be sent to the owner; the number of users of the Dartford Crossing incurring penalty charge notices in error; and the measures being taken to correct the system fault. In response, Highways England provided the information requested.
