The Environment Agency has received a new bespoke application for an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 from UBH Group Limited.

UBH/SRS have developed a way of recycling end-of-life solar panels using a novel technology. The technology is specifically designed to process silicon/glass solar panels – as used in all the current domestic and commercial/industrial applications. The operator wants to apply for new bespoke/mixed metals site (1.16.16) for the recycling of end-of-life solar panels. No panels will be refurbished or released for re-use.
