The Environment Agency has received an application to vary an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 involving substantial change to a permit from H.D. Ricketts Limited.

This application is a substantial variation to an existing bespoke deposit for recovery permit (permit number EPR/KB3203MT). H.D. Ricketts Limited proposes an extension of the site boundary, an addition of European Waste Catalogue codes - 19 12 09 and 19 12 12 to the existing permitted waste list and an increase in site throughput from 1,576,500 tonnes to 3,376,500 tonnes of waste materials to complete the extension areas locating to the northwest and southeast of the existing site, respectively.
