The Environment Agency has received an application to vary an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 involving substantial change to a permit from Tom White Waste Limited.

Application to vary from current operation as a Standard rules permit SR2008No3 with treatment to a bespoke permit accepting a waste throughput of less than 75,000 tonnes a year, - household, commercial and industrial waste transfer station with treatment consisting of manual sorting or separation only with the addition of EWC 19 12 12 residual (non recyclable) waste arising from other waste transfer stations (including mixtures of materials comprising non-hazardous residual waste from waste management facilities mechanically treating EWC chapters 15, 17, 19 and 20 coded non-hazardous household, commercial, industrial or municipal wastes other than those mentioned in 19 12 11)
