We have received a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 for the following:
The total numbert of crimes logged via Action Fraud.
We released the following information on 12 December 2012.
Action Fraud has been operational since October 2009 and in the past three years (October 2009 to October 2012), it has received a total of 118,549 crime reports. The reports were sent for analysis to the National Fraud Intelligence Bureau (NFIB) at the City of London Police, the national lead force for fraud.
