This communiqué summarises the meeting chaired by the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster on 14 July 2021.

The Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster chaired a meeting with the First Ministers of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, on 14 July. The meeting took place via video conference.

The attending Ministers were:

For the UK Government:

  • The Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, Rt Hon Michael Gove MP

For the Scottish Government:

  • Deputy First Minister of Scotland, John Swinney MSP

For the Welsh Government:

  • Minister for Economy, Vaughan Gething MS

For the Northern Ireland Executive:

  • First Minister of Northern Ireland, Paul Givan MLA

The group discussed progress on their respective roadmaps and lifting of restrictions, collaboration on aligning key messages to citizens across the UK, and international travel.
