The Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) is the principal global intergovernmental body exclusively dedicated to the promotion of gender equality and the empowerment of women. The UK Government is committed to promoting women’s rights and gender equality, and is actively involved in the work of CSW.
The CSW59 newsletters are issued by Helene Reardon Bond, Head of UK Women’s National Machinery, and detail the UK Government’s preparations for participation in CSW59. This includes updates on how we will work with UK Women’s NGOs in advance of CSW59 in March 2015.
