This guidance describes the steps that the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) might take before it decides whether to investigate an unnotified merger. It is intended for lawyers advising merging parties on whether to notify the CMA of a merger, and for third parties who may wish to alert the CMA of an unnotified merger.
