Details
The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) responds positively to a proposed new scheme for regulating ABS for legal services in Scotland.
The scheme is being put forward by the Law Society of Scotland which is seeking agreement from Scottish ministers to be the approved regulator for ABS. We recommend a review in 2 to 3 years to ensure the scheme is delivering the improvements to consumer choice and value that were intended.
