In November 2013, Clean Power (UK) Limited applied to the Environment Agency for an environmental permit to operate an energy recovery facility to incinerate and process non-hazardous waste at a site on Moor Street, Brierley Hill, in the West Midlands. The Environment Agency began public consultation on the permit application in April 2014 after gathering additional information from the company.
Latest news
The environmental permit application from Clean Power (UK) Limited to operate an energy recovery facility at the site on Moor Street, Brierley Hill, has been withdrawn by the company. This withdrawal does not prevent the company from reapplying for an environmental permit in the future.
