This report outlines the Department of Health’s progress in implementing the ‘Civil Service Reform Plan’, which set out a series of specific and practical actions to bring about an exceptional Civil Service.

To mark the anniversary of this publication, the Cabinet Office has published the ‘Civil Service Reform: One Year On report’, which provides an assessment of progress on implementing the 18 actions in the original plan.

The Public Expenditure Statistical Analysis 2013, which provide information on departmental expenditure including outturn budgets from 2008 to 2009 until 2012 to 2013 and plans for future years, will be published by HM Treasury on 16 July.
