This circular publishes amendments to determinations made under the Police Regulations 2003, to implement the police pay award for 2015 to 2016.
On 16 July, the Home Secretary announced her decision in relation to the recommendations of the Police Remuneration Review Body (PRRB) and the Senior Salaries Review Body (SSRB). The statement is available.
This circular implements the 1% pay award which takes effect from 1 September 2015:
- a 1% increase to base pay for all ranks
- a 1% increase to the London weighting payment
- a 1% increase to the dog handlers’ allowance
This applies to all police officers in England and Wales.
This circular publicises amendments to the Secretary of State’s determinations under the Police Regulations 2003 to implement these decisions. The amendments to annex F are attached to this circular.
