Details

We gather views from children and young people on their social care settings every year, which include:

  • children’s homes (including secure children’s homes)
  • residential special schools, boarding schools and further education residential accommodation
  • supported accommodation
  • living with foster carers

We use the responses along with other information we have, such as previous inspection findings or any concerns, to decide when to inspect and what to focus on when we do.

The views of adults in these social care settings have been included separately.
