Details
This specification (version 1.6) describes the children in need (CIN) 2013 to 2014 census. This data collection covers all local authorities in England, who are expected to provide data for the period from 1 April 2013 to 31 March 2014.
The data consists of child-level information for children in scope, showing their characteristics and information about their assessments. The majority of children in need will be up to 19 years of age but there will be a few exceptions where children’s social care are providing support to older persons.
