The interim guidance will support independent child trafficking guardians (ICTGs), identifying their roles and responsibilities as well as those of public authorities and other related agencies and their staff who work with trafficked children within the ICTG sites.

This guidance is published under Section 49 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and will provide the framework required for both the ICTG and the ICTG sites to function, enabling the service to be implemented effectively.
