The commission’s staff guidance covers policy and practice based on charity law. This guidance enables commission staff to carry out their work in a fair and consistent way.
The commission publishes this guidance as part of its commitment to working as openly as possible.
A very small amount of information from the internal staff guidance has to be treated as confidential, for example:
- some details about law enforcement
- where making information public could affect how justice is administered
The commission has removed this information from the version published on the website. This is in line with the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
